terms of service.

These terms, together with your signed service agreement, form the contract between you and IMG Weddings.

They set out what you can expect from us and what we ask of you. Where your individual service agreement differs from anything below, that signed agreement takes precedence. Booking our services means you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and your wedding party.

booking & deposit

Your date is reserved only once a signed agreement and the booking deposit are received. Until then, all dates remain open to other couples. The deposit secures your date, reserves our team and equipment, and is applied toward your total.

The booking deposit is non-refundable, as it compensates for dates we decline once yours is held.

payment

• The remaining balance is due in line with the schedule in your agreement, and in full before final delivery.
• Invoices are issued in USD unless agreed otherwise.
• Optional add-ons requested after booking are quoted separately.
• Late balances may delay your delivery date.

postponement

Plans change, and island weather has its own ideas. If you need to move your date, we will do everything we can to accommodate the new one, subject to our availability. Your deposit transfers to one rescheduled date within twelve months. A change of date is not a cancellation.

cancellation

If you cancel, the booking deposit is retained and any further refund is determined by how close the cancellation falls to your wedding date, as detailed in your agreement. We recommend wedding insurance to protect your investment against the unexpected.

coverage & conduct

We approach every wedding as artists and documentarians, exercising our creative judgement over framing, timing and final selection. To capture your day at its best, we ask for:

• A realistic timeline shared with us in advance
• Reasonable access to venues, light and key moments
• A safe working environment for our team and equipment
• Meals for the crew during full-day coverage

We are not liable for moments missed due to circumstances beyond our control, such as officiant or venue restrictions, weather, or guests obstructing a shot.

delivery & timelines

Sneak-peek images typically follow within two weeks, with full galleries and films delivered within the window stated in your agreement. Final media is supplied digitally through private, link-protected galleries. We archive master files but ask that you download and back up your delivery promptly.

copyright & usage

IMG Weddings retains copyright in all photographs and films we create. On full payment, you receive a personal licence to view, print and share your media for non-commercial use. Commercial use, resale, or entry into contests requires our written permission.

Unless you have requested privacy in writing, you grant us the right to use selected images and footage in our portfolio, on social media, and in submissions to publications. Please do not alter our work with filters or crops before sharing, and a credit is always appreciated.

limitation of liability

In the rare event of equipment failure, loss of media, illness, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, our total liability is limited to a refund of fees paid for the affected coverage. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. This does not limit any rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.

governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of its courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
